Challenge
A sport association app was running without a profit and they wanted to add payments to the app, but still keep their current clients. Their challenge was to understand what features of the app their users were willing to pay for and how much they were willing to pay.
Solution
We measured what features of the app the users were most inclined to pay for. We developed 3 packages for the app, one free version and two paid versions. The free version still included many features but also allowed for an easy upsell to any of the paid version, this would keep the current customers pleased. Establishing a new pricing strategy.
Results
As the association were previously charging $0, they are now charging $499 for their premium version, making a huge impact in their yearly revenue. While not effecting their overall number of customers, they saw an instant profit from the changes.
